Nicknames (any and all): I guess most people just call me Kath, but.. yeah, really doesn't matter. ^^;
Location: North Vancouver, BC
Wanted Location: Want to move out of the suburbs -- just to downtown would rock.
What makes you, you? My music, my books, my friends. <3
Top Five Bands: Death Cab For Cutie (anything of Ben Gibbard's, really: love The Postal Service and All-Time Quarterback), The Shins, The Decemberists, Snow Patrol, We Are Scientists.
Top Five Films: Donnie Darko, In Good Company, Love Actually, Garden State, Merchant of Venice.
Top Five Books: Mmm, le'see. The Harry Potters (shh, I'm a fanatic), Life of Pi, The Wind on Fire trilogy, Cue For Treason, and Abarat.
What’s your theme song in life? Wait, by Death Cab. ^_^
What song touches you in a different way than any other? Why? Rrr, that would have to be the Death Cab song Wait, as well. It's one of those songs that makes me feel good when I'm up, and sort of gives a sympathetic hug when I'm down -- it's like me in a song (all cheesiness aside).
If there was a movie about your life, who (living or dead) would play you? Your best friend? Your significant other? Hah, good question. I'd love it if Drew Barrymore played me; Natalie Portman would definitely be my best friend. Mmm.. And then maybe Jake Gyllenhaal.
What do you think about…
Tattoos and piercing? I'm not too far into them, but I think it's awesome if anyone wants them done.
Same sex marriage? Definitely for -- I have extremely liberal views, really.
Vintage clothing? Hot when not too over-the-top.
The Ramones? Very cool music.
The Fall of Communism? Great thing, great thing.
Titanic? Ahh, so very, very depressing.
Abortion? I'm a pro-lifer.
Zach Braff? Love him; looks like a young Ray Romano.
Llamas? The whole "hahah llamas are random" dealie is.. I don't know, over. xP I don't really care. Llamas are cool.
President Bush? ...Don't get me started. You really don't want to hear me rant, so I won't.
What do you think a Youth and Beauty Brigade actually is? Well, heh, I think it's a band of down-to-earth people, who promote their ideals and their lifestyles. It shows that everyone has unique tastes, there's no need to be perfect, and.. I don't know, I s'pose I think it's just a place to be real.
Aaand, here we go:
Sorry, I know it's a squinty picture, but if I don't take them in the sun then my hair looks super-dark, and.. right. ^^;
And just for kicks, I'll throw in this one of me getting my back signed at an in-store Snow Patrol concert. I like kicks.
Hah, nice to meet you guys.~
